According to March 17 reports, popular K-pop groups TVXQ, Girl's Generation, Super Junior, and BoA's management company SM Entertainment donated around 1 Billion Won (approx USD 800 000) to the Red Cross organization to help support Japan, the Northeast, as well as the Pacific regions that have been affected by the earthquake and tsunamis.
